What are the best remedies or products for clear, healthy skin? I’ve tried lots of products, including ProActive, but they’ve only made my skin worse. Because of that, I believe I have sensitive skin. However, sensitive skin products won’t keep my skin clear either! My face seems to do best when I don’t wash it at all. I wear makeup of course, usually to cover my complexsion. I try to rinse my face with water at night and wash it in the morning. Can anyone help? Continue reading →

Wired Skin Conditions, Need Advice

My sister is having problems with a skin condition on her left hand after water contact. The palm of the hand becomes itchy, stinging and wrinkled. It has the appearance of skin after being in water for a long period of time, although this is not the case. It only occurs on the palm of her left hand. It does not vary depending on the products used, eg. soap and shampoos. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

She should see a dermatologist,  a fully trained and qualified medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases and concerns of the skin, hair, and nails.

How young is too young for facial skin treatment?

I am a 16 year old boy and am thinking of getting a facial treatment to get rid of acne from my face. Last year when I asked my mother if I could get a facial she answered I didn’t have enough acne. And my mum believes that facial treatment will irritate and damage my young skin, although she herself gets facials every now and then. Do you agree with her? Should I take facial treatment now? I apparently have too much acne already.

Facial treament doesn’t like a bikini wax. You don’t need a parental permission to do that. You could just go and pay for it yourself. There are facials designed for skin with acne available at many spas. My spa has a great one priced at about $60 per hour.
